Job description

The Project Control Analyst supports the Vice President of Finance and Contracts and Finance Manager in performing financial and administrative aspects of the projects. This role is essential for monitoring the Deltek support email account which provides support for password reset, project code setup, and troubleshooting log-in issues. The individual in this role will be responsible for the new user account creation within Costpoint. This role will ensure that timesheets are submitted, signed, and approved immediately after each pay period. The project control analyst will assist with project set up, project code and PLC assignment, linking purchase orders to the work assignments for subcontractors, tracking project costs, creating invoices according to contractual requirements, estimating at complete, and ensuring that projects stay within funded levels. Responsibilities will also include reconciling the timesheets of Prime and Subcontractors biweekly. The ideal candidate will be apt to read contract modifications and interpret the data for project setup and funding tracking. This is an in-person role.

Qualifications:

" 2+ years of finance/project control experience in Federal Government contracting is required

" Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required

" 1+ years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint is required

" 1+ years of invoicing on a Government contract is required

" Knowledge of various contract types

" Ability to independently gather the required information to perform job responsibilities

" Proven ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner

" Proven ability to use spreadsheets and Costpoint to perform job responsibilities

" Critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail

" Proven ability to use organizational skills to multi-task in a high-volume environment

" Excellent time management skills and a self-starter; ability to work through and solve problems independently

" Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
