Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team to plan , coordina te , direct, a nd report on various IT and IT adjacent project s s upporting large -scale government programs . As a Project Manager, you will report to the Program Manager and collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to successfully drive projects to completion. This is a hybrid position and requires onsite work in King George, VA . Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in project management , business administration , or a related field or applicable work experience - Secret security clearance - Project Management Professional certification - Eight years of p roject m anage ment experience , preferably in the government sector - Knowledge of proj ect management methodologies i.e., Agile, Scrum, Lean - Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members . - Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and complete projects Responsibilities: - Manage projects throughout their life cycle and drive projects to completion - Coordinate between c ustomer contacts, team resources, direct team members, partners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders on all aspects of the projects - Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for project complet ion - Design project plan s whic h identi fy needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel - Oversee project team members and assign tasks and responsibilities As a Project Manager , you will fill a critical role in completing IT and IT adjacent projects supporting large-scale government pro grams . Your expertise in Project Management and your ability to drive teams to successful project completion wi ll contribute to the achievement of program obj e ct ives . You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, interacting with various stakeholders.
