R- Description Leidos' Health Solutions Organization is currently seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Engagement Lead to join the product team in support of the Department of Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) Program, its $4.6B single award IDIQ contract, known as MHS GENESIS. This highly visible program is designed to deploy, operate, and sustain a new electronic health record to the military health system, supporting nearly 10 million service members and their families worldwide. While every healthcare system is addressing quality, user experience and cost, the MHS GENESIS program has the added challenge of delivering these objectives within the DOD security environment, at the DOD's global scale, all while supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA)'s vision of a medically ready force which is essential to our national defense. Primary Responsibilities Provide project management and engagement leadership in support of MHS GENESIS (Cerner Millennium) capabilities optimization, maintenance and implementation. Drives efforts to ensure Revenue Cycle functionality is developed, tested, and ready for deployment into MHS Genesis. Serve as a Revenue Cycle methodology project management expert related to Revenue Cycle best practices and support Revenue Cycle strategic project efforts. Strong analytical skills to include the understanding and documentation of business/clinical/Revenue Cycle processes. Deep knowledge of the Revenue Cycle business and operations. Successful experience planning and managing large scale Enterprise Revenue Cycle implementations and upgrades. Clinical and/or technical Revenue Cycle background and successful EHR/EMR implementation experience. Lead a large, geographically dispersed, cross-functional team comprised of multiple subcontractors. Develop and/or manage project work plans to include Basis of Estimates (BOEs), pitches, scope, schedule, milestones, critical paths, resourcing requirements, capability requirements, risk documentation and mitigation. Drive project communications that include communications artifact development that follows DHMSM PM policy and customer delivery templates and timeframes for delivery. Successfully lead and facilitates meetings, to include creation of well-crafted presentations, agendas, minutes, documenting decisions, action items and attendees in a manner that follows DHMSM PM policy and customer delivery templates and timeframes for delivery. Prepare, conduct and present professional well informed project status with advanced and in-depth project knowledge to the integrated project team and senior level program leadership. Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas and escalates appropriately and in a timely manner using identified processes and channels. Identify and manage inter and intra-project dependencies. Control, monitor and validate project finances, costs, and resources following DHMSM policy for reporting and documentation. Conduct formal cost and schedule variance analysis and documentation of recovery plan. Participate and professionally report out and represent project management in various financial reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and other program management reviews Manage and coordinate intra project support elements to include the following: Cyber System interfaces System configuration and architecture Requirement's interpretation and decomposition Workflow review and documentation Engineering and design, review and approval Training Testing Communications Implementation plans Sustainment needs Basic Qualifications BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation. Federal Government requirement. Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal presentation. Demonstrates effective communication with senior management, clinical, administrative, revenue cycle and operational customers, and vendors. Experience with Revenue Cycle best practices and supporting Revenue Cycle strategic project efforts. Strong analytical skills to include the understanding and documentation of business/clinical/Revenue Cycle processes. Deep knowledge of the Revenue Cycle business and operations. Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and operational experience (IT personnel, Cyber/Security, Engineers, Developers, Testing, Training, Clinical, Financial SMEs, etc.). Cerner or other similar EMR Systems Level implementation and/or support experience. Experience managing projects within complex, enterprise wide, large-scale implementations. Ability to provide leadership and promote teamwork. Ability to manage project implementation teams and individuals and monitors the deliverables of each team to ensure milestone and on-budget completion. Hospital system, acute care and ambulatory implementation experience. Successful experience leading Lead a cross-functional, geographically dispersed matrix team.
