As a Sr. Modeling & Simulation Analyst, you'll dive into exciting Defense and Intelligence Community projects, using cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices. This role supports a dynamic, high-energy Special Operations customer, working on Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) studies and shaping the future of space and airborne systems. Our client is on the hunt for analysts who can bring high fidelity modeling and simulation of satellites, aircraft, and their ISR sensor suites to life for a variety of government and commercial customers. You'll be creating complex vignettes, architecting studies and trades, developing cool tools for data analysis, performing meticulous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks, and presenting your findings to senior-level decision-makers. Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph US Citizenship required As a Sr. Modeling & Simulation Analyst you will: Use your creativity to create complex vignettes while architecting studies and trades. Develop innovative tools for data analysis. Perform thorough Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks of simulation input and results. Present your results to senior-level decision-makers and wow them with your insights. Sr. Modeling & Simulation Qualifications: US Citizenship Required and a current TS/SCI clearance. 10+ years of experience. Ability to develop stand-alone engineering tools/scripts via Python and/or Excel. Experience with the design, development, and software implementation of complex mathematical algorithms. Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. Additional Qualifications we would like to see: An advanced degree in Engineering or a related field. Working knowledge of the theory and applications of astrodynamics, remote sensing, spacecraft design, aerospace systems operations, complex systems integration is desired. Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with both clients and teammates to achieve program goals. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the mission.
