Westway Services Group LLC is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join a fast-paced team in Herndon and Chantilly, VA locations. The qualified Systems Administrator will support growing world-class facilities with opportunities to travel as needed. You will provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding or knowledge of Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity including the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). The candidate must have a good understanding of basic Networking and AD concepts in a technological environment. Installation and configuring of software applications that are requested by end-users daily. You will get to work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain all Production, Pre-Production, and Development systems in a Windows environment
Implement and monitor the Enterprise Windows Servers testing and installation of patches, updates, additional tools, and future versions of all software on a regular basis
Perform Systems lifecycle management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of enterprise hardware and software
Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the system is compatible with defined architecture and meets customer needs
Develop technical process documentation, including CONOPS, user guides, and test plans Conduct daily data transfers for tenants IAW sponsor procedures
Resolving IT support requests to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues
Monitor and implement network configuration changes Plans, develops, and designs network management and maintenance projects, including policies and procedures, operational improvements, backup, and archival files
Knowledge in setup, configuration, administration, of firewalls and firewall clusters along with multi-site policy configurations. Required Skills: Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are critical
Develop and maintain Technical Documentation and instructions
High attention to discretion, detail, and accuracy, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and across organizational elements
Must have ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Familiarity with one or all: AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, Exchange, VMWare, switches, and firewalls
Familiarity with Windows 2016/2019, PowerShell, NAS, SAN, vSphere, and ESX Education:
High school diploma (required)
Associates degree in IT or STEM with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred) Minimum Qualifications:
Security+
MUST have and maintain an active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility and possess or be amendable to sitting for a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA Server+ or A+
CCNA
MCSE/MCSA NRO and/or CIA experience is a plus Working Location Environment:

Visual acuity to recognize people, numbers, and words
Extensively use hands and fingers to feel and reach with arms

Must be able to regularly lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds at times
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop and crawl consistently Security Compliance Requirements: US Citizenship is required to meet government regulations If hired, a Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, must be completed at the start of employment
