Location: Remote US (Eastern Time Zone)
Travel: Less than 25% Regional Travel
Manages Others: No immediate direct reports, however, potential for direct reports in the future
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, Master's degree preferred
Experience: 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business operations, or related fields
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This role provides opportunities for candidates seeking a forward-facing, impactful position within a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations of our Government Operations team and ensure successful execution of leadership priorities. This position will provide the opportunity be in a position of leadership, gain exposure to our Executives and Board of Directors, and be a critical driver of continuous improvement, and operational success.
Responsibilities:
Internal Leadership:
Support the development and execution of innovative strategies that drive continuous improvement within government operations, ensuring they align with the company's overarching business objectives.
Conduct and oversee research and competitive analysis, translating insights into actionable strategies that position the company as a leader in government operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BizOps and Strategy and Implementation Program Management and Operations, to build out processes, improve Government Operations metrics and speed to go live, and ensure smooth communication.
Operational Optimization:
Drive the optimization of operational processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity within government operations.
Identify and execute process improvements that align operational goals with the company's broader business strategy, ensuring that initiatives are both innovative and practical.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success, providing insights that guide continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Implementation Excellence:
Support the implementation of new customer programs, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate on the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that resources are effectively managed and that deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
Oversee project progress, addressing challenges swiftly to ensure successful outcomes, and delivering results that exceed client expectations.
Executive Support:
Provide high-level strategic and operational support to the President and the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Government Operations, contributing your consultancy expertise to complex projects and initiatives.
Support Board directives, liaising between the Executive team and the Board of Directors, ensuring seamless communication on directives, translating objectives into actionable initiatives and reporting on milestones.
Lead and manage key projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with the company's strategic objectives, with a focus on initiatives that involve government client engagement.
Prepare and deliver executive presentations and reports that communicate insights, progress, and strategic recommendations, demonstrating the value of your consultancy-driven approach.
Coordinate and manage meetings, including agenda setting, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items
Represent the President and the SVP of Government Operations in various meetings and forums as needed.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in consulting and advisory roles, strategy, business operations, or related fields
Proven record of accomplishment in driving growth and achieving business objectives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
Experience in organizational management or consulting preferred
Experience in government operations, interest and understanding of how to navigate political environments preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, Master's degree preferred
