Position Overview We are recruiting for a program manager to oversee and manage a Prototype Development, Assembly, Integration, Test, and Qualification for a US DOD Multi-Spectral Sensor program from initiation to completion. The program is expected to be executed over a five-year development cycle with a transition to a multi-year production program upon successful customer verification and acceptance. Responsibilities This role involves planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of complex DOD technical program. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in technical project management, excellent communication skills, an understanding of the defense acquisition processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Manage the Middle Tier of Acquisition - Rapid Prototyping program for a highly sophisticated mounted/dismounted military optical surveillance system. Duties include but not limited to: Direct regular customer IPT meetings both in person and remote Track and deliver monthly customer CDRLs Routine communication with the customer to provide program status Tracking/Driving/Communicating Cost and Schedule metrics Subcontractor performance tracking Coordination with the internal technical team while aligning subcontractor activities to meet program objectives Coordination with the QinetiQ Procurement, Government Property, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Logistics functional teams Required Qualifications 7 years of demonstrated Program Management experience within the last 10 years, 5 years of those years are required to be for US DOD programs Demonstrated understanding program financials - Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Forecasting, profit/margin, management reserve and risk mitigation Demonstrated knowledge of DOD Research and Development programs and processes Demonstrated experience with requirements documentation (IMS, WBS), assessing customer requirements (Performance Specifications, Capability Development Documents, MIL-SPECs, MIL-STDs), identify dependencies, and developing responsive project plans Active DOD Secret or higher level clearance Preferred Qualifications DAWIA Level III in Program Management Certification or equivalent Demonstrated experience with DOD Program Executive Offices and/or Program Managers PMP certification Demonstrated experience in and experience with Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price contracts and/or OTAs Demonstrated ability to estimate costs and other resources using quantitative analysis to project requirements Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic plans Company EEO Statement Accessibility/Accommodation: If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to or call Opt. 4 and let us know the nature of your request and contact information.
