We are hiring for Hardware Technician to join our FPGA Engineering Team in Lynchburg VA.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a member of our FPGA engineering team , this role supports the design and implementation of various FPGA based products used in wireless systems. You will make an impact by performing lab related system bring-up, testing, debugging, and supporting the team members for the remote lab access. Our FPGA engineers work very closely with various multi-functional teams within and outside to integrate our engineering efforts.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Associate degree in Electronics Engineering/equivalent two-year degree plus minimum 3 years of related experience in the wireless/wired communication field.
  • Experience with Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, and Generators.
  • Experience with lab maintenance and networking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and high levels of awareness and ability to receive and process sophisticated verbal instructions.
  • Ability to lift, move around 30 - 40 pounds and more than 50 Lbs. with peer assistance.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Linux experience, exposure to TCP/IP networking, Python, or any other scripting language experience. Prior experience in wireless standards (LTE, 5GNR), high-speed serial interface testing/debug, RF system integration experience.
