Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Administrator to support program management efforts by developing program plans, schedules, and critical path analyses. You will work closely with the program manager and functional organizations to ensure program objectives are met efficiently and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. This role involves conducting status reviews, delivering Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data, assisting in program decision-making, and supporting management and customer reviews.

Develop program plans in conjunction with the program manager to meet assigned objectives.

Create realistic, detailed schedules and conduct critical path analyses using the company's Integrated Master Planning & Scheduling (IMPS) standards.

Analyze program schedule status, including resources, schedule duration, activity constraints, and relationships, while identifying the critical path.

Deliver EVMS data to the Business/Finance Office.

Prepare and submit status reports and other related program data.

Support management and customer reviews, as requested by the program manager.

Assist in making critical program decisions that balance functional recommendations with overall program performance.

Develop program proposal schedules and detailed network logic diagrams.

Create reports and techniques to monitor schedule variances.

Participate in process/quality improvement teams and recommend scheduling process improvements.

Maintain current knowledge in professional associations such as PMI, MPUG, and EVMS.

Skills Required:

Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate and negotiate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

Advanced computer skills for preparing reports and documents.

Sound judgment in decision-making while complying with policies, laws, and regulations.

Ability to analyze, develop, and implement processes within budget and schedule constraints.

Expertise in utilizing state-of-the-art technology, principles, and theories in program management.

Experience Required:

Track budgets and project expenditures.

Assist with setting up and organizing project meetings.

Take minutes at meetings and keep the project calendar up to date.

Perform administrative duties related to tracking projects.

Assist in planning and executing projects from start to finish.

Education Required:

Five to ten years of related experience.

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is required.
