Job description

We are seeking a Platform Administrator to provide technical expertise to support our customers' implementations of products developed on the ServiceNow platform and ensure the overall performance, availability, and fitness of applications and environments. This work will transition into full-time onsite at the customer's location in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in Manassas & Warrenton VA. What you'll be doing: Implement, configure, and maintain new and improved platform functionality and systems to ensure continuous availability and operational enablement with a focus on scalability
Tailor and extend solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness through workflow development and customization
Write light scripts (basic familiarity with JavaScript a plus) and software/systems integration and coordinate advanced development with Application Development resources
Analyze and transform business and user requirements into actionable specifications
Align deliverables and solutions with a strategic vision for technology
Consult and advise cross-functional teams on existing and forthcoming solutions,
Perform platform administration, including data management, security, integrity, release and update validation protocols, SOP, and guidance documentation
Work with cross-functional business users to resolve technical concerns; triage and coordinate response to performance and accessibility issues, incidents, system changes, and reporting requirements
Collaborate and contribute to the creation, deployment, and maintenance of technical best practices and standards
Ensure technical deliverables to customers are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes
Responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and build-out of customer requirements on the platform utilizing defined best practices for configuration and development
Develop client-specific reporting processes and integration components What you'll bring to the table: 1+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow
3+ years of other business experience
Ability to influence stakeholders and other team members in a consultative fashion
Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, SSL, SAML/SSO, and other such technologies
Demonstrated ability to consult and support (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) while providing assistance in solving business processes and/or technical problems and communicating this information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, etc.) and experience working in a SaaS environment Preferred qualifications: Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining on-premises servers, network equipment, and systems.
Experience with on-premises infrastructure, including servers, switches, firewalls, and storage systems.
Knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Maria DB, etc).
CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
