Position Overview: Edgesource is seeking a Systems Engineer to support access management functions across platforms, to include the administrative activities of granting access to platforms, and satisfying compliance requirements (e.g., legal, policy, INFOSEC) for processing, accessing, querying and reporting findings. This position requires all work be performed full-time onsite at the client location in the Northern Virginia area. All candidates must possess a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance to qualify. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily system architecture operations (e.g., maintenance, builds) in support of analysis and technical requirements. Perform technical systems administration activities in support of the complex operations activities. Develop integration plans that capitalize on new data processing, modeling, and storage technologies including the cloud environments. Support access management functions across platforms, to include the administrative activities of granting access to the data platform, as well as tracking of onboarding and offboarding personnel. Meet compliance requirements (e.g., legal, policy, INFOSEC) for processing, accessing, querying and reporting findings. With oversight, conduct daily system architecture operations (e.g., maintenance, builds) in support of data analysis and technical requirements. Perform technical systems administration activities in support of complex data operations. In some cases, activities are time sensitive. On an ongoing basis, develop integration plans that capitalize on new data processing, modeling, and storage technologies including the cloud environments. Required Qualifications: Possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance. Demonstrated experience developing, running, and analyzing results of complex queries against massive scale data stores or data processing environment(s). Demonstrated practical experience manipulating high-volume structured and unstructured data to perform analysis and generate reporting or products. Demonstrated experience using analytic techniques and tools performing technical analytic support to the Intelligence Community. Demonstrated practical experience developing and using computer languages (e.g., Python, R, Pig, Java, C, SQL, ECL) to perform large scale parallel processing of data, and to develop, validate, and use methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments. Demonstrated experience performing data analysis to perform technical analytic support. Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED): Demonstrated experience using Enterprise Control Language (ECL) and the Lexis-Nexis High Performance Cluster Computing (HPCC) platform. Demonstrated experience developing custom algorithms to support analytic requirements against massive data stores. Demonstrated experience directly performing technical analysis support using massive data processing systems. Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating program activities such as installation and upgrading of hardware and software, utilization of cloud services, programming, or systems design development, modification of IT networks, or implementation of Internet and intranet sites. Demonstrated experience deploying web applications to a cloud managed environment to include DevOps and security configuration management. Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, and VPC. Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, and executing the required activities to support documentation to meet the data compliance requirements.
