Title: Data Warehouse Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ months contract

Rate: $65.00 - $69.00/HR

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Warehouse Developer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining relational databases for data storage and mining. You will be responsible for performing data warehouse design and testing, including tasks related to data design, database architecture, and metadata creation. The role also involves ensuring the continuous improvement, reliability, and security of data, under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage, retrieval, and mining.

Perform data warehouse design and testing activities, including data design, database architecture, and creation of metadata and repositories.

Create and implement data warehouse schematics, layouts, and capacity planning to meet current and future needs.

Develop and maintain processes for entering and ensuring the accuracy of information within data warehousing systems.

Collaborate with senior team members to design and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes.

Participate in efforts to continuously improve the performance and scalability of data warehouses.

Ensure the security and integrity of all data stored in the warehouse, adhering to security protocols and guidelines.

Conduct routine tasks as directed with close supervision, gaining hands-on experience in data warehouse management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Up to 3 years of relevant experience in data warehouse design, development, or maintenance.

Basic understanding of relational databases, database architecture, and data modeling concepts.

Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing tools.

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of data security principles and practices is a plus.
