Job description

The McLean Group conducts a summer analyst internship program for finance students heading into there Senior Year (class 2026). Please submit a cover letter and resume to be considered.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis)

Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong work ethic and ability to handle a fast-paced environment

Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance or consulting

Experience with financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Python)

Knowledge of industry trends and M&A activity
