(MLS) is a woman-owned small business that provides full-spectrum linguistic, analytical, and training support to the U.S. Military and Intelligence Community, federal civilian agencies, and commercial organizations. With services in over 100 languages and resources in more than 60 countries, MLS specializes in mobilizing the linguistic, technical, and management personnel needed to meet mission-critical communications and operational objectives. We are actively seeking a Cleared Chinese Language Instructor to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with language instruction, translation, and transcription services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Work 40 hours a week, spending approximately 20 hours of teaching and 20 hours of lesson development, student assessment, and testing.
- Instructors are required to complete specific sponsor training on teaching mission-focused foreign language skills and conducting foreign language testing to become certified according to Sponsor standards Requirements: - Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Education or Language
- Ability to score ILR Level 4 or higher on target language translation test
- Ability to score ILR Level 4 or higher in Reading and Speaking/Listening test
- Ability to pass an advanced English test
- Prior Language training and experience working with the US Government
- Five-plus years of experience providing language instruction to adult students
- Five-plus years of experience performing language testing for adult students
- Possess a demonstrated knowledge of the respective area's history, culture, politics, and economics, as well as working knowledge of foreign language learning technology and teaching methods Desired Skills: - Content Management
