Position Description :
If you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the US Navy- Serco-NA has a great opportunity for Analyst roles on our program providing management direction to the NSYs and Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs) and serves as the Headquarters for Depot Level Maintenance. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your active DoD level clearance.

The contract specifically, formulates, recommends, and implements policies and programs to ensure technical quality, continuity of purpose, cohesiveness, cost effectiveness and conformance to Fleet and Command requirements. This includes controlling workload assignments and approving distribution of assigned manpower resources, directing field manpower development and management programs, and improving and maintaining total force field management systems and programs. It evaluates activity performance and exercises management control of Regional Maintenance associated with the NSYs. It also develops industrial factors and ship work statistics related to the U.S. ship building industry and justifies all ship overhaul and modernization execution matters to Congress. Lastly, provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.

In this role, you will:

For identified improvement initiatives, provide Business Case Analysis (BCA) with particular focus on throughput, cycle time, business and industrial processes. BCA's should provide an understanding of associated business and implementation risks for each initiative, impact of each initiative, costs associated with implementation efforts, and other relevant components.

Provide an overview of initiatives to include the following: current state of affairs for process/organization under review, description and significance of improvement effort, required fixed and variable costs (to include labor), timeline and proposed future state.

Provide detail recommended steps/activities for implementation and follow-on assessment of effectiveness including additional actions.

For new technologies, propose potential acquisition strategies associated with each of the proposed initiatives and indicate the risks and benefits that are expected to accrue.

Develop metrics to measure the success of initiatives.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Bachelor's Degree.

2-4 years experience.

Additional work exprience, education and or training will be considered in lieu of years of experience.

An active or current DoD Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

The ability to travel at least 10% of the time.

Additional desired experience and skills:

An active NMCI account and CAC.

LEAN practitioners such as American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified black belts.

Knowledge of USN Submarines

2 or more years of experience with Submarine Programs and Maintenance Activities.

Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.

Knowledge of Program Management, including the acquisition process, change management and Navy program execution.

Active-Duty Experience in the submarine service.

Recent experience in Depot or IMA level maintenance of Submarines would be ideal.
