Job Description: We are seeking a Data Engineer to support our customer within the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic command. Our candidate will design, develop, support, and maintain the organization's Data Warehousing system within a government cloud environment. Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions. Design and automate processes to facilitate data analysis and manipulation. Implement database & data warehouse concepts including schemas and data modeling to meet customer requirements. Utilize data warehouses and data lake concepts to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Maintain/optimize database objects, including tables, views, and notebooks, containing complex SQL queries and python code. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and sharing of knowledge. Here's what you need: 10+ years of direct working experience. Experience in design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes for data warehouses. Experience with data warehouses and data lake concepts. Experience with Databricks, SQL, & Python. Experience with Agile development methodology. A team-oriented outlook with outstanding customer service experience. Strong analytical skills along with discretion in performing specified work requirements. Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and build and sustain working relationships. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines while working independently. Bonus points if you have: Experience with the US Navy's ADVANA Jupiter environment. Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
