Join City Wide Facility Solutions as our Director of Operations for Norfolk!

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operations of our comprehensive building-maintenance solutions, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. You will lead a dedicated team of Facility Services Managers (FSMs) while fostering strong relationships with all assigned clients. Your primary goal will be to enhance client satisfaction and drive growth, all while meeting annual business objectives and maintaining optimal workforce levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Facility Service Managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to support our clients effectively.

Achieve annual revenue and profit targets by managing operational expenses and contractor margins, while exceeding the overall financial management of services offered.

Recruit, train, and develop all operational staff, including FSMs and Night Managers, ensuring a high level of operational excellence.

Maintain over 90% client retention through proactive relationship management and exceptional service delivery.

Foster professional relationships with vendors and Independent Contractors to ensure compliance and quality service delivery.

Promote cross-selling opportunities for non-janitorial services alongside the sales team.

Manage new client implementations, providing ongoing support to ensure successful transitions.

Conduct regular building inspections and ensure all client data is accurately maintained in our CRM system.

Drive employee development through performance reviews and regular coaching sessions.

Participate in field operations to support FSMs as needed and travel within the market up to 50% of the time.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of management experience in operations, preferably in the facility solutions or service industry.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM tools.

Experience in developing and managing departmental budgets.

A proven track record of building effective relationships with customers and team members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.

Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.

Experience in coaching and leading teams to achieve performance excellence.
