Requirements Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 6 years' experience Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Desired Skills Understanding of basic Facility Maintenance concepts and requirements. Good warehousing familiarity, knows how to operate a forklift. Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes. Description Performs a variety of tasks related to maintenance of the facility, shipping & receiving and warehouse activities Performs minor maintenance service and repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering, or machine servicing. Escorts contractors in performance of scheduled work Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials Will travel as needed to support SRC in other locations Will generate and maintain layouts for projects and seating Will provide computer based operations support and reports Will maintain HVAC settings and monitor temp/humidity Will use company vehicle Will transport materials back and forth to warehouse Performs MAC and Event support activities Loading delivery vehicles, Driving a forklift, Pushing and pulling of pallet jack Checking shipments against invoices, Inspecting material for damage Putting material away into bins or onto pallets, Preparing items for shipment, Packaging material Recording shipping information, Maintaining inventory counts, Organizing inventory Pulling material for shipment Collaborates and communicates with other logistical personnel and technicians Handles all shipping/Receiving functions for the facility Inputting data into computer Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Diversity & Inclusion We strongly believe in the abundance of differences among individuals.
