Job description
TQI is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Program Manager to lead IT transformation projects for our Client. Reporting to VP of Operations, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including task coordination, schedule development, risk management, quality assurance, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Network Operations (NetOps) and a proven track record of managing complex IT projects. This is a full time, salaried, exempt position located in Norfolk, VA. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Coordinate and oversee all project tasks, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
Create detailed project schedules and timelines, tracking progress and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and project milestones.
Ensure timely delivery of project outputs, managing any delays or changes effectively.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, adjusting plans as needed to address emerging issues.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular quality reviews and assessments, making improvements as necessary to maintain high-quality outputs.
Prepare and deliver performance reports, including progress updates, budget status, and risk assessments, to internal stakeholders and clients.
Analyze project performance data and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
Apply knowledge of Network Operations C2 requirements, technology assessments, systems design, and systems analysis to drive project success.
Support programmatic activities, including quality assurance, acquisition planning, and budget planning, ensuring alignment with IT transformation objectives.
Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline; OR nine (9) years of relevant experience in IT project management.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITILv3 Intermediate certification required.
Must have DoD Contracting experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IT transformation projects, including task management, schedule development, risk management, quality management, and performance management reporting.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the five (5) years should be directly related to Network Operations (NetOps) C2 requirements, technology assessments, systems design, systems analysis, programmatic support, quality assurance, acquisition planning, or budget planning.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to deliver complex IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
