Amentum is seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Portsmouth, Virginia location. Essential responsibilities will include: Maintains quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements. Reviews and revises or writes quality assurance procedures. Establishes, defines, implements, maintains, and reports on quality assurance key performance measures and standards. Performs root cause analysis, implements corrective actions, and monitors progress and improvements. Drives continuous improvement through communication and training on quality standards, requirements, and best practices. Minimum Requirements: Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret Clearance. Must have an 12+ years of relevant experience supporting essential tasking with Bachelor's degree; 8+ years relevant experience with Masters degree or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the differences in the federal requirements of AIT contract execution and normal contract solicitation in reference to the Federal acquisition Regulations Experience with the integration of authorized work for shipyard, ship force and other maintenance providers and projects teams. Experience ensuring execution and adherence to contracting requirements and oversight to include but not limited to Combat Systems equipment and software installations.
