Senior NTCSS Automated Information Systems Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior Automated Information Systems Analyst to provide Navy Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) System Administration support services and training to COMNAVAIRLANT (CNAL) and its supported CVN ADP/CS-3 communities. These services are administered under the USFFC Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) contract at our Naval Station Norfolk location in Norfolk, VA. What You'll Get to Do: Provide management support of Information System Analysts operating on the NFL contract at CNAL, NAS Norfolk, NAS Oceana and NAS Jacksonville Troubleshoot and assess system administration requirements to resolve existing NTCSS RSUPPLY/NALCOMIS logistics application processing errors, analyze NTCSS applications and support utilities for operational status, resolve pending challenges and provide server/workstation software install/upgrades support. Respond to CVN requests for assistance with NTCSS server management. Provide System Administration Support to CNAL/CVNs via onsite visit, phone and/or email correspondence. Provide NTCSS System Administration training. Assist in testing, debugging and documenting new software/procedures. Assist in system administration and management of CNAL's NTCSS servers on NMCI network. Recommend/develop enhancements to existing processes. Recommend risk management solutions for NTCSS Application problems or software/process improvements. Perform data mining extracts and analyze output to support data-calls, recommended procedures, fixes or changes. Assist in the development/update of training/procedure manuals and work with technical staff to learn and understand new problems You'll Bring These Qualifications: Minimum Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field. Minimum Experience: In addition to the education requirements above, the Senior Automated Information Systems Analyst shall have eight years of experience in computer analysis, Navy AISs functional analysis, networks and programming; plus two additional years as a senior-level analyst working under a formal quality management system. Education Equivalency: As a substitute, eight years of experience in a combination of computer programming, design, and/or analysis. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category. Must have a current DOD Secret security clearance Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification or achieve within six months of hire Must attain CompTIA Linux+ certification within six months of hire These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Former Navy or Marine Corps Information Systems Technician (IT) is highly desired. In-depth experience with NTCSS System Administration Experience with NTCSS RSUPPLY/NALCOMIS, MS Office (Excel, Word, Access) Ability to work independently and within Groups. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
