Grey Matters Defense Solutions is seeking a talented and dedicated Business Intelligence Developer. About the job: GMDS is seeking a remote Senior Qlik Replicate/Compose Developer to support a large 5-year contract with the US Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Norfolk, VA. Key Responsibilities: Qlik Replicate/Compose Developer with 5+ years of experience Good understanding of data warehouses, with exposure to CDC, Data Movement, and Data Transformation Proficient in SQL with a solid understanding of data design principles and dimensional data modeling. Project experience working in Windows and Linux operating systems. A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing professional services, preferably with the Federal Government or Department of Defense Experience in an Agile development environment utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors). About you: Develop and implement Qlik Replicate and Qlik Compose ETL and ELT solutions in an Oracle environment Leverage Qlik Replicate to efficiently replicate and ingest data into Oracle target systems, Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures within an Oracle environment Develop, manage and configure data warehouse sources and targets, Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data integration workflows Participate in resolving technical issues that arise during development. Communicate and coordinate with members of the development team to work across multiple projects. Assist with documentation for IT technical processes and software user guides Other duties as assigned or required Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Travel : Up to 10% travel to Norfolk, VA will be required. Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred .
