Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Experience (UX) Architect to join our dynamic Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analyzing software application workflows, planning software solutions, and designing intuitive user interfaces. This role requires proficiency with Windows-based web applications, alongside a deep understanding of user research and interface design principles. Role and Responsibilities include: Analyze software application workflows and plan effective software solutions. Design and develop complex software products with a focus on user experience. Conduct and interpret user research to apply user input into application structures and flows. Create and test user interface mock-ups and prototypes. Apply user-centered and cognitive interface design principles to proposed solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UX designs. Here's what you need: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software application analysis, planning, and design. At least 3 years of specialized experience in: Analyzing software application workflows. Planning software solutions. Designing and developing complex software products. Proficiency and hands-on experience with key software components and tools used in Windows-based web applications. Minimum of 3 years of experience in: Planning and conducting user research. Interpreting and applying user input. Developing the structure and flow for user applications. Creating and testing user interface mock-ups and prototypes. Demonstrated ability to apply current and emerging user-centered and cognitive interface design principles to planning and evaluating proposed solutions is desired. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency with UX design tools and software. Experience using Adobe XD and Creative Cloud is highly desired. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Keen attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Disciplines studied should preferably include coursework in at least one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, and User Experience Design. Master's degree is desired. Portfolio: Candidates will be asked to provide examples of work that demonstrates practical experience and design abilities.
