Title Appian Automation Test Engineer Clearance Requirements Public Trust or Higher Certification Requirements Location Quantico, VA Description Location: Remote HumanIT Solutions, LLC is seeking a remote tester to support a Case Management System built using Appian's Low-Code Platform. Responsible for designing test scenarios for software and system usability. Runs tests and prepares initial reports on the effectiveness and defects of the software and/or system. Provides support in software and system testing. Validates testing method, resulting data, and finalizes testing reports and provides them to the developer(s) under the direction of the System Architect. Experience supporting development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality and functionality. Should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Position Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience or 7 years of relevant experience Minimum 3 years of experience in test to include strategy, automation, design, and execution analysis & reporting At least 3 years of Information Technology experience Working understanding of Agile Methodologies including Scrum and Kanban Track record of implementation and follow through of manual testing to increase quality and accuracy of development functionality Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing to government customer and internal development teams Ability to assist with releases including pre and post testing Strong experience with leading regression testing and user acceptance tests Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Atlassian Suite and other business communication tools.Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing automated testing tools Experience educating development team on testing best practices and creation of testing steps Understanding of Appian Low-Code Platform Active DOD Secret Security Clearance, minimum expectation of Public TrustAbout the Organization At HumanIT, we are driven by honesty, integrity and hard work.
