Responsibilities Peraton is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead a new effort with one of our longstanding customers. In this role, the lead Engineer will collaborate on designs, review work products to ensure the proper technology is used and provide feedback on the quality of solutions and recommended improvements. The lead will provide technical leadership and project direction through detailed, diverse elements of project management tasks, and direct completion of tasks within budget and on schedule. Qualifications Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA, Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA
Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field
Eight (8) years' experience with the following:
Providing technical leadership in designing, architecting and supporting technical systems
Collecting requirements and turning them into designs/plans
Reviewing technical capabilities for use with new requirements
Designing, architecting and supporting both Cisco and Linux routing systems
Understanding of firewalls, routing, switching and other telecommunications systems
Working knowledge of various Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies such as Internet Protocol Securty (IPSEC) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted tunnels
Integrating Cloud services such as Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Domain Name System (DNS) and web hosting
Experience with many of the following technologies:
VMware VCenter, VSphere and ESXi
Microsoft Active Directory
DNS/DHCP
Cisco ASA devices
OpenStack
VOIP call managers
Cisco Meeting Servers
Redhat Open Shift
Nginx
JAMF
Artifactory
Vault
J Frog+
MatterMost
IBM BigFix
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and poly

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
