Job description

Duties You will serve as a technical expert in your assigned Information Technology (IT) technical area. You will manage projects characterized by such scope and complexity as to have impact across higher organizational levels. You will develop new approaches and techniques and extensive coordination to support the implementation and acquisition of a variety of IT systems, products and services. You will provide consultation and instruction to functional area users on complex IT programs and functions. You will represent command panels or committees that are convened to recommend command or Marine Corps wide policies and procedures. You will be performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved solutions; consulting with customers to identify and specify requirements. You will be developing overall functional and systems requirements and specifications Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
