Qualifications VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Intelligence Systems SME II Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with 8 to 12 years of related experience. Experience: Extensive, recent (within 5 years) experience supporting Marine Corps intelligence operations and employing associated systems. In-depth knowledge of current and emerging GIS, all-source analysis systems, and non-SIGINT collection methods. Demonstrated success in supporting Intelligence activities and initiatives. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior military leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively with government and contractor teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to support field demonstrations and exercises to include traversing rugged terrain on foot, unloading and loading of equipment and systems under test, and riding in military tactical vehicles, ships, and air platforms. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time. TS/SCI level Clearance required. Additional Qualifications Highly Desired: Understanding of DoD acquisition life cycles and systems engineering processes. Experience with requirements and capabilities development processes (e.g., JCIDS). Prior senior military or civilian experience supporting USMC intelligence systems. Knowledge of the Marine Corps Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) process. Experience in transitioning technologies from development to operational deployment. Active TS/SCI with CI Poly. Job Description: Serve as the primary SME for intelligence systems, including GIS, all-source analysis, and non-SIGINT Intelligence collection hardware and software. Provide advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis design integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on complex problems which require extensive knowledge of the Intelligence systems, workflows, and interactions for effective implementation. Provide strategic guidance on the implementation and integration of intelligence technologies to enhance operational capabilities. Apply principles, methods, and knowledge with the Intelligence and Information functional areas of expertise to customer requirements and provide advice on esoteric problems which require extensive knowledge of the subject matter. Design and prepare technical reports, studies, and related documentation, make charts and graphs to record results, prepare and delivers presentations, training, and briefings as required by the task order. Collaborate with government and contracted teams to support the development, testing, and deployment of intelligence solutions. Identify opportunities for capability enhancements and recommend technology insertions to address intelligence gaps. Liaise with Marine Corps intelligence community stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational needs and objectives. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and advances in intelligence systems relevant to Marine Corps operations. Support the development of requirements for new or evolving intelligence systems and processes. Provide mentorship and insight to team members and adjacent staff. Essential Duties of the Job: Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard. Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
