Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VMWare Administrator to join a non-profit organization located in Quantico, VA. The VMWare Administrator will be responsible for Administration for customers' virtualization requirements.
Responsibilities of the VMWare Administrator include: • As a VMware Administrator, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a VMware Administrator joining our team to be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges How a VMware Administrator will Make an Impact: Administration for customers' virtualization requirements
Daily support, maintenance, and design services for VMware virtualization across four separate enterprise domains
Daily interaction with network and storage administrators to ensure full operability of virtualization services
Plans and implements system security patches as well as upgrades as required
Windows Domain enterprise support as it relates to VMware operations as well as supporting the customer with vulnerability management, outage, and troubleshooting
Education: BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Security+
Required Experience: Experience with in-depth knowledge/experience of VMware virtualization with a minimum level of ESXi 5.5 up to 7.x in both stand alone and VCenter environments to include:
o VCenter operations o vMotion o Host and Datastore Clustering o VCenter HA and DRS o Guest VM resource utilization and management Compensation for the VMWare Administrator include: • Salary Range: $110-140,000 • Contract-to-Hire • Full benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays
