Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic cloud-centric agile development team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in documenting functional business requirements, developing Visio workflows, supporting the UI/UX team, and actively participating in architect and development meetings to ensure comprehensive and precise functional documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Documentation of Functional Business Requirements:
oCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
oDocument detailed functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
oMaintain and update requirement documents as needed.
2.Develop Visio Workflows:
oCreate and refine Visio workflows to represent business processes and system interactions.
oEnsure workflows are clear, accurate, and align with documented requirements.
oUpdate workflows as changes occur in the development process.
3.Support UI/UX Team:
oWork closely with the UI/UX team to ensure user interfaces meet business and functional requirements.
oProvide detailed feedback and support to the UI/UX team during the design and development phases.
oEnsure consistency between UI/UX designs and functional requirements.
4.Support Architect and Development Meetings:
oAttend and actively participate in all architect and development meetings.
oProvide insights and clarifications regarding functional requirements.
oCollaborate with architects and developers to address any gaps or inconsistencies in requirements.
5.Enhance Functional Documentation:
oContinuously review and enhance documented functional requirements based on feedback from the development team.
oEnsure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current state of the project.
6.Agile Process Participation:
oParticipate in all aspects of the agile development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
oEnsure that functional requirements are understood and prioritized appropriately within the agile framework.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a cloud-centric and agile development environment.
• Strong proficiency in creating and managing Visio workflows.
• Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with UI/UX teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. MUST be a US Citizen with a U.S. Government clearance - Intel with Polygraph NOTE: Must have an active TS-SCI with poly. No sponsorships or upgrades are available. Submissions without this requirement will not be considered. H1-B holders will not be considered. Benefits:
