About This Role: Lead deployment of containerized software across two networks using internal client infrastructure and Linux/Kubernetes platforms
Support the Modernization and Migration Management (M3) Program Management Office (PMO) as the DevOps Engineer by overseeing all aspects of software deployment and assisting the Team in achieving Authorization to Operate (ATO)Responsibilities: Manage and configure container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AWS EKS) to deploy, monitor, and maintain software
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment of containerized software in cloud-based environments
Optimize the packaging and deployment of containerized applications, ensuring efficient and scalable operations
Ensure that the containerized software is easily installable and deployable, whether through cloud services or container orchestration platforms, based on evolving project requirements
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve deployment issues, ensuring reliable software delivery and system stability across various environments
Collaborate with internal system owners, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure security requirements are integrated into the system development lifecycle
Collaborate with software vendors develop and facilitate streamlined deployments of periodic upgrades and patches Assist the Security Team in facilitating applications through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO) The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications: TS/SCI
3+ years of professional experience in DevOps Engineering and/or Systems Engineering experience with demonstrated ability to deploy containerized software Professional experience in Linux systems engineering and working with Container Orchestration Platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, etc.)
Professional experience in deploying and managing Cloud-based applications Professional Certifications:N/AEducation:Bachelor's Degree Clearance:Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Years of Professional Experience:
3+ Years The "Nice-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:
Familiarity with Cloud-based application deployments
Experience working with Team to progress applications through the RMF process to achieve ATOProfessional Certifications:Nice-to-have: DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (ex: SEC+) Physical Requirements
