Job Description: Seeking Mongo Database Administrator to support an Intel Community (IC) customer.
Work Locations: Herndon, VA (SCIF), Washington, DC (Govt SCIF), Riverdale, MD (Govt SCIF)
Full time work in SCIF is required, but hours are flexible. Telework and/or hybrid is not available. Required Qualifications:
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
• Bachelor's degree in an area applicable to the position with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• A minimum 8 years of experience with database administration
• 3+ years Mongo DB experience
• Active Security+ (DoD 8570 Baseline certification for IAT Level 2)
• Experience in database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and high availability strategies for Mongo DB
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues
• Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
• Experience with Mongo DB backup and recovery strategies
• Experience with Linux and/or Microsoft Windows Operating System
• Experience with data migration
• Independently able to employ multiple database backup strategies
• Ability to work closely with system admins and ISSO on application upgrades, documentation and STIG remediation
• Experience writing queries for data retrieval Desired Qualifications: • Familiar with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
• Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Cloud environment
• Ability to design, develop, and document technical solutions, standard operating procedures, and change requests.
• Experience with capacity planning, utilization, and performance monitoring (Index, Table, Queries, and Stored procedures).
• Familiar with writing queries to generate system data reports, modify data as necessary, etc.
• Experience in database design and development
