Job description

ASRC Federal is seeking a Network Administrator-Level II to support an upcoming DHA contract. This work will be located onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position is contingent based on the successful award of contract to ASRC Federal. RESPONSIBILITIES Deploy and sustain new or existing information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other communications networks. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of the network. Perform daily performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of the network. May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of network hardware and software products. Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the network. Performs network infrastructure maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency. Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. Experience working on-site providing touch network administration support across multiple buildings. Experience working with a CRM like ServiceNow. At least one IAT II Certification: CCNA Security CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) CompTIA Security+ CE Certified Network Defender (C ND) ISC Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) To meet government contract requirements, must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust or DoD Security clearance. Must successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
