Job description

Position Title: Russian Linguist Position Identifier: Location: Reston, VA U.S. Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: No Travel: Yes, within the WMA Description: o A large portion of the material for translation, summarization or gisting deals with military, cyber and science and technology topics. o Applicants who do not have prior experience in these areas must be willing to acquire the relevant knowledge for long-term success. o Linguists must be comfortable doing long technical translations.
o Linguists for this requirement must possess excellent English skills and the ability to produce precise English translations. o Linguists must be comfortable with assignments involving oral interpretation, on various topics
o Linguists must be willing to work anywhere in the WMA Qualifications: o Five (5+) relevant years of experience in language o Bachelor's degree required, Master's desired
o ILR in Russian of 4/4+
o Ability to pass an English test with a score of 80% or above
o Must be able to get along in a diverse team in a fast-paced environment with high stakes outcomes
o Ability to give/received constructive feedback on translation reviews
o Ability to type no less than 45wpm in English and in Russian
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
