Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Software Developers (fullstack) to support a critical intelligence community mission in Reston, VA. The team is seeking skilled software developers and data engineers to join this classified mission in support of application and data services.

Clearance: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph

Location: Reston, VA (100% on-site)

Responsibilities of the Software Developer:

Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement using Java, Angular, Python, JavaScript, Springboot, HTML, and/or CSS

Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies

Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging Infrastructure platform services

Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases

Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs

Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices

Use industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting

Document and Perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leverage GitFlow constructs

Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities

Qualifications of the Software Developer:

•Must hold an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance

•Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 3-20+ years of software development experience in either front end or back end, cloud, or data services

•Expert with Java, Angular, Spring and C2S.

•Expert in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices

•Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit

•Expert with scripting languages such as; Java, Angular, Python, Bash

•Expert working in an Agile development environment and tempo

•Expert with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

•Expert with development leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS)

•ETL and data migration experience

Compensation of the Software Developer:

Compensation: up to $210k+ based on years of experience and education
