Title: Tester (Intermediate to SME Level) Company: Einstein Technologies, Incorporated (ETI) Location: Northern VA Job Summary: Einstein Technologies, Incorporated (ETI) is seeking a skilled Tester with 5-10 years of experience to join our team in Northern VA. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end testing for cloud platforms, focusing on developing and maintaining an automated testing environment. This role requires a deep understanding of automated test script creation and processing and experience in testing web-based applications. Key Responsibilities: • Create and maintain an automated test environment using candidate-recommended automated testing products. • Develop automated test scripts and processes using Selenium or other recommended automated testing tools. • Direct software system testing and validation procedures, including documentation. • Design testing programs that address database impacts, software scenarios, and regression testing. • Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. • Test and qualify the functional behavior of code, including conducting unit and functional tests on bug fixes. • Evaluate web-based applications, including those with databases and web services/APIs, to ensure they meet quality standards.
Required Qualifications: • 5-10 years of experience in testing, particularly in automated test environments. • Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium. • Experience developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures. • Demonstrated ability to document and ensure compliance with test procedures. • Must possess a TS/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). Preferred Qualifications: • Strong experience in cloud platform testing. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. • In-depth knowledge of testing web-based applications, including those integrated with databases and APIs. Education: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Working Conditions: • This is a full-time, on-site position in Northern VA to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with project requirements. Remote work options are not available for this role.
