Tableau Developer
Reston, VA 20190 On-Site: This position requires Mon-Fri on-site work
Security Clearance: TS/SCI CI Polygraph (CI poly can be scheduled) We are recruiting for a Tableau Developer to support business intelligence and analytics for a government contractor. Qualified candidates must have expertise working with Tableau administration and architecture. Role and responsibilities include: Work closely with cross-functional team supporting design and technical requirements for data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics
Support business intelligence, data visualizations, and reporting tasks developing reports and dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools
Work closely with requirements, development, and testing team members to develop technical solutions
Develop dashboards and workbooks
Provide data visualization and analysis
Support queries and troubleshooting
Support code development and updates
Provide end user support
Support interface management for systems
Prepare test readiness and production readiness reviews and product lifecycle inspections
Develop and maintain technical documentation for references and reporting
Other duties as assigned Requirements include: U.S. citizenship
Current TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration
Current CI poly or ability to obtain CI poly
Bachelor's degree (equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
5+ years of related software development experience supporting BI development and reporting 2+ years of current experience working with Tableau Product Suite and Tableau Software Tools including:
Tableau development for data analytics, data visualizations, and reporting
Tableau scripting to automate tasks, publish workbooks, etc. Demonstrated expertise with PL/SQL
Strong troubleshooting skills including troubleshooting interfaces
Experience to support testing including leading tests for releases
Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
Effective written and verbal communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teams
Availability to work on-site (no telework options)
Experience working with federal acquisitions or federal financial systems and processes is a plus
