Job description

Possess knowledge of capabilities and limitations of intelligence collection disciplines, to include general technical sensors/platforms and human intelligence sources in area of responsibility. Knowledge of IC collection management cycle, processes, systems, and tools. Knowledge of collection strategies, collection requirements, targeting, assessment, feedback, and source validation/vetting processes. Drives collection to identify and answer intelligence gaps. Works closely and effectively with collectors in all phases of the intelligence cycle. b) (U) Conduct research and analysis of data, information and intelligence to produce a wide range of finished all-source intelligence products for senior U.S. defense department and government officials, U.S. Combatant Commands (CCMDs) that are in accordance with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and DIA Analytical Standards. c) (U) Produce in-depth strategic and operational analysis of transnational terrorist networks and activities. Finished intelligence products shall include, standard and nonstandard DIA products as well as briefings for the tactical and strategic customers. Coordinate all products within DIA and with other IC partners. d) (U) Support DoD field collectors and determine the best methodology to prepare and produce integrated intelligence products including targeting products in direct support of special operations. e) (U) Provide analytical support for special operations and conventional activities to include deployed, detailed and temporary duty (TDY) support to partner nations. f) (U) Provide support to national and DoD/CCMD level planning efforts to include contingency and crisis planning. g) (U) Support daily coordination and dissemination of products with DCTC's Warning and Fusion Center (WFC), IC and DoD, through attendance at IC coordination meetings. h) (U) Meet formatting, classification, and dissemination guidelines when producing written and graphic products. i) (U) Support the development and implementation of emerging terrorism intelligence research and/or reporting requirements using available IC databases. j) (U) Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, and working groups in support of the DCTC and IIC missions. Possess general information systems experience working with select DoD datasets and intelligence reporting activities.
Desired Requirements: Desired Experience: Minimum two years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of terrorist organizations, to include group names and geographic location, leadership, activities, and ideology. Desired Education: Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
