Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including contract claims, defects, and compliance issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, agreements, and settlement proposals.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal briefs and memoranda.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders to develop case strategies.
  • Attend court hearings and mediations, advocating for clients' best interests.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and case law affecting construction litigation.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on risk management and compliance issues.
  • Assist in mentoring junior attorneys and support staff.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, contract law, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex litigation and work independently.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage effectively with clients.
