Education:

  • Associate's degree Preferred

    Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and drafting

  • Basic knowledge of drafting principles

  • Basic knowledge of building and construction principles

  • Good analytical and abstract thinking with the ability to process detailed information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Ability to process and understand maps and charts

  • Ability to use Microsoft office suite of software

  • Ability to use AutoCAD and/or Micro Station drawing software

    Design Draftsman Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This role will organize and maintain documents associated with design, engineering and construction within the Power Generation Business Unit of client

  • Organizes and maintains drawings, prints, diagrams, word documents and pdf documents

  • Works closely with designers, engineers, and power station personnel to find and perform simple drafting tasks and revisions to drawings and documents

  • Compiles and organizes submittal drawings and documents from 3rd party vendors and consultants

  • Locates, modifies and prints drawings using small and large format plotter

    • Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
