We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our Richmond, Virginia office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, providing comprehensive estate planning services to individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on estate, gift, and tax planning strategies
  • Assist clients with probate and estate administration matters
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to create personalized estate plans
  • Ensure compliance with Virginia estate laws and regulations
  • Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent legal services

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Virginia
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning law
  • Strong drafting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Virginia estate and tax laws is preferred
