Inbound Customer Service Agent
Location: Remote- locations vary, inquire for details
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Independent Contract
Available Schedules: 9:00am-9:00pm EST Monday-Sunday

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Inbound Customer Service Agent for one of our amazing service partners! Our partner is a Fortune 500 company, the nations largest retail bookseller, and a leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products. The company operates 640 stores in 50 states.

Key Responsibilities:

-Handle customer inquiries regarding order status, membership, and/or marketplace orders for the Specialty Services Escalations/Sales Audit Group (SAG)/Retail program.
- Create a case in the client system for every interaction.
- Research the customers account to accurately identify the best solution/answer for customers inquiry.
- Use client Knowledge Base to provide customers with accurate and complete information.
- Utilize CrowdHub to further enhance client program knowledge and stay updated on client policy changes.
- Handling inbound customer service phone calls about the clients membership program including but not limited to inquiries by the Clients customers about membership status, replacement membership cards, and changing auto-renewal status
-Assisting Clients store managers and store sellers with in-store customer questions.
-Providing support services for Clients corporate sales customers.

Requirements:

-Phone Line Requirements: One of the following types of phone lines is required:
- POTS (Plain Old Telephone) line (hard-wired to wall outlet)
- Cable telephony (connected directly from router/modem device)
- Digital service (connected directly from router/modem device)
- VoIP through a physical hard phone (tangible device that sits on your desktop)

Equipment Requirements:

- Hardwired telephone and headset or keypad/headset (e.g., AGPTek or Plantronics)
- Dual monitors are strongly recommended
- Must maintain the most recent version of Windows 10 or 11 (fully patched with no pending updates)
- An Apple or Android cell phone for secondary code verification

Skills and Abilities:

- Outstanding prioritization skills
- Patience and empathy in client interactions
- Skilled and efficient in writing and verbal communication
- Knowledgeable in customer service practices for banking and financial services
-Background Check and Certification: Successful completion of a background check and certification is required.
