Well-established group of 70 radiologists located in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a board certified or board eligible Interventional Radiologist to serve the community for Johnston-Willis Hospital.The incumbent physician will be joining a group of 8 IRs servicing multiple moderate-and small-sized hospitals in the central Virginia region, including Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers, as well as their office-based lab.About the Practice:As a progressive clinical IR practice, they perform the full gamut of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to peripheral arterial and venous interventions, interventional oncology, dialysis access management including pioneering work in the development of percutaneous arteriovenous fistula creating, uterine fibroid embolization, kyphoplasty, hepatobiliary interventions, and general body IR procedures.Qualified Candidates:Fellowship training in interventional radiologyMust be board eligible or board certified in their specialtyBoard eligible candidates still in training must be scheduled for their boardsMust be energetic and motivatedCandidates that could be program builder/leader are encouraged to applyVirginia licensure or ability to obtainMust have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration2 plus years experience preferredIncentive/Benefits Package:Join a busy and established private practiceIR call only, with no diagnostic call shifts, although reading off the diagnostic list between cases during the weekdays is expected.Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits packageGenerous vacationPartnership opportunityAbout Johnston-Willis Hospital:292-bed community hospital26-beds ICU with a mix of neuro ICU and 14 medical ICU beds28-bed, 24/7 adult and dedicated ER44-bed inpatient physical rehabilitation unitSarah Cannon Cancer InstituteBrain and Spine centerComprehensive Stroke CenterMaternity and Gynecologic Services with 24/7 OB emergency departmentCommunity:Richmond has become a nationally recognized destination for foodie restaurants, craft beer, art, and business.
