Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Richmond. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in workers' compensation law, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing workers' compensation claims.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
  • Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters regarding case status and requirements.
  • Organize and manage case schedules, deadlines, and court dates.
  • Prepare for hearings and trials by organizing evidence and exhibits.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in workers' compensation law.
  • Associate's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
