MOLDING MANAGER - Compounding Manufacturing

We are currently working with an OEM in Halifax County, VA that is looking to fill the role of Molding Manager.

WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:

• Oversee injection molding operations.

• Oversee production training and development programs.

• Assist with maintaining a safety learning management system and safety training records.

• Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.

• Inspect safety equipment; recommend replacements.

• Ensure completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting documents.

• Partner with the technical processing manager to improve efficiency in operations.

• Assist with the maintenance of internal safety standards and policies.

• Lead accident and incident investigations.

75% of your time will be on the floor

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Injection molding management experience a plus.

• Experience managing a diverse, multilingual workforce.

• An OSHA 30 Card or equivalent experience is a plus.

• Experience providing safety and operations training in a production environment.

• Knowledge of Alchemy Training LMS a plus.

• Lean Management experience a plus.

• Problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills.

• Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent attention to detail.

Automotive industry experience is a plus. Tooling experience is also a plus.

The salary range is $55-65k
