PacArctic, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for an experienced Custodial Supervisor with a Top-Secret Clearance to support PAC and our government customer in Springfield, VA. The supervisor oversees the work of ten custodians on the day shift, Monday through Friday. The staff cleans restrooms, showers, kitchenettes, offices, floors, carpets, windows, and warehouses, removes trash and dust, and cleans required surfaces. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Selects, hires, and assigns staff. Coordinates cleaning tasks and activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of the custodial staff. As a working supervisor, completes custodial tasks in the advent of absenteeism, including periodic help with weekend carpet and floor care projects. Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that proper training is provided. Ensures proper labor relations, safety practices, and conditions of employment are maintained. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, schedules, and daily assigned coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and assignments, and ensures compliance with directives to custodial staff, including lead custodians. Evaluates and verifies employee performance by reviewing completed work assignments and work techniques. Promptly responds to cleaning deficiencies to ensure and maintain outstanding customer satisfaction. Performs monthly Quality Control inspections and notifies employees of areas requiring improved results. Trains custodial staff on causes, correction, and prevention of quality issues. Trains lead custodians on proper cleaning methods, job skills, and use of equipment, safety practices, and work regulations. Monitors and requisitions cleaning materials, supplies, and required equipment and parts. Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair needs and personally makes minor repairs. Other duties as assigned by the project manager Qualifications: Top Secret Clearance Preferred (must be able to obtain a Top-Secret government clearance) 3 years' experience in custodial supervisory Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills A team player that can achieve departmental goals Able to gain employee and client trust by showing work skills, including dependability, hardworking, conscientiousness, cooperation and strong leadership skills. High school diploma or GED, custodial experience, and fluent in Spanish. Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
