Responsibilities The Personnel Security PM effectively communicates with senior leaders and possesses experience in leading dynamic teams of ten or more employees. The Personnel Security PM shall possess experience in performing managerial and supervisory responsibilities, to include developing an organizational approach to complying with the customer's mission and vision statement. Proficiency in developing and championing innovative ideas is mission critical. The Personnel Security PM should have the familiarity of working with government agencies and industry partners solutioning best practices, processes, and procedures. The Personnel Security Support PM will assist the customer in updating and commenting on security policies to include joint agreement and other projects. The Personnel Security Support PM will be responsible for updating local policies in accordance with recently updated Intelligence Community and Department of Defense (DoD) Directives. The Personnel Security PM will be responsible for overseeing staff performing and supporting the clearance eligibility of contractor and customer personnel. Qualifications Shall have 20 or more years of security manager experience; 10 of which need to be related to Personnel Security operations and include investigations, continuous evaluation, suitability/employability, and quality assurance programs Bachelor's degree in management, security, and/or a related field or 15 years of security manager experience. Shall have 10 years' experience in preparing formal written communications and delivering executive-level presentations. Shall have 5 or more years of experience using the Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). 5 years of experience with collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) security regulations. 10 years of experience in the risk management process. Although the candidate must be a subject matter expert in personnel security, they should be knowledgeable in all security disciplines: physical security, industrial security, information security, personnel security, and cyber security. Shall have experience in overseeing the execution of formal IC polygraph programs. Desired Qualifications: Experience working with IT professionals to track and document SIMS system requirements is highly desired. The creation of SIMS security related training and expert knowledge in SIMS database management is highly desired. Demonstrated history of managing a Special Security Office (SSO). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. General experience and knowledge of SIMS Software.
