Job description

Solidus is looking for a SeniorIntegration and Test Engineer.You will be joining ourOperations & Maintenance (O&M) team. This teamintegrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. This position is located in Springfield, VA. Candidates must be able to work on-site. Day in the life: - Provide regular updates to the on-site SETA team via a daily status page and in-person engagements - Support weekly SETA and team lead technical tag-ups - Support Change Management Board meetings as needed - Provide technical SME support as an on-site E2 Systems Integration & Test Engineer - Work in a classified lab on site - Work in an Agile program environment -Supportthe daily execution of activities on a complex satellite ground system, supporting internal and external stakeholder maintenance activities -Support bi-weekly operational software deliveries and performing on-site E2 triage and support during business hours with after-hours on-call expectations. What you will bring to the role: -US Citizenship and an active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred) - Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 5 years of relevant experience with a MS - Experience working on-site with multiple stakeholders - Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems - Experience with systems engineering principles and activities Preferred: - Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment - Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations) - Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) - Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, home-grown) - Experience with Java, C++, or Python - Experience with Linux operating system What we will bring: Solidus offers you an exciting opportunity to tackle the nation's greatest challenges applying innovation and expertise to produce cutting-edge results that have a long-lasting impact.
