What you will be working on (Job Description): This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills helping the User Facing and Data Center Services (UDS) mission at the NCE. In this mission, we provide NCE with the design, engineering, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center IT services for NCE and its stakeholders. PITD System Administrators assist the program in providing multiple mobile solutions for Continuity of Operations, Crisis Support, First Response, and Technical Support to local and deployed personnel allowing for real-time communications and collaboration both CONUS and OCONUS. In this role, a typical day will include: Support the full life cycle management of all NGA PITD Assets, including: Identification (bar-coding) Inventory Issuance & Return-to-inventory Sustainment End-of-life (EOL) Activities Vendor interaction & interfacing Recapitalization activities Guide successful completion of major programs and infrastructure improvements; function in a project leadership role to ensure timely execution, efficient governance of resources, and technical execution. Creation of Asset Delivery Reports (ADR's) and Asset Found Reports (AFR's) in PeopleSoft for newly acquired assets. Attend meetings/briefings with contractor and government personnel. Brief senior NGA leadership and UFS management on the status of the PITD program. PITD Devices include: Laptops Cell Phones (flip phones) & Smartphones Pagers iPads & Tablets (Classified) RSA Tokens CAC Readers GETS/WPS Cards CD/DVD/Blue-Ray Drives External Hard Drives CD/DVD/Blue-Ray Disks SD Cards Flash Drives Other Removable Media PITD Device Accessories What you will bring to us (Required Skills): DoD 8570 Certification or ability to obtain DoD 8570 within the first 30 days (primary certification is Security+). Bachelor of Science degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business is preferred) with 3+ years' experience as a System Administrator / System Engineer. U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a CI polygraph. Proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office, SCCM, Active Directory, DNS, MS Exchange Server, IBM MaaS360 Mobile Device Management.
