Job description

Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking a Program Control Specialist to help support our current Marine Corps contract out of Stafford, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and monitor cost, schedule, performance, and risk metrics associated with Marine Corps intelligence Program of Record (PoR) capabilities.
Support the government customer with program schedule development and maintenance, budgeting, performance metric establishment and monitoring, risk assessments, briefings, and general communications related to program activities.
Support program office documentation development activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating documents, presentations, and correspondence.
Coordinate with sponsor offices, executive agents, internal and external partners, and integrators as directed by the program office.
Support program office risk management, research and development efforts, and interoperability testing and integration activities.
Assist with technical studies and analyze current and future requirements.
Work independently and resolve problems within an assigned area of responsibility.
Demonstrate strong organization and written/verbal communication skills.
Develop and update program office task books and work breakdown structures.
Must be willing to lead, mentor, and train others. Minimum Qualifications: At least 12 years of experience supporting acquisition programs spanning the acquisition lifecycle to include the following:
Completed, basic Defense Acquisition University coursework (e.g., ACQ 101, 201).
Expertise in developing and managing DoD Integrated Master Schedules.
Experience leading DoD Acquisitions professionals supporting varying competencies (e.g., systems engineering, logistics, finance, program analysis). Preferred Qualifications: Marine Corps cyber security familiarity as well as knowledge of DoD/USMC procedures and policies in support of acquisition, logistics, and fielding activities to include the preparation of military acquisition documentation, technical documentation, and data entry in spreadsheets and databases.
Ability to lead analytical efforts focused on highly complex and mission specific operational problems.
Direct and collaborate with technical teams on operational and/or developmental projects throughout system life cycle (development of requirements to final delivery).
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include MS Project. Clearance Requirements: Active Secret to start. Must be able to obtain Top Secret Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work The projected compensation range for this position is $92,400-$154,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
