Currently, ManTech is seeking a Transition Coordinator to support the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) Science & Technology Division (S&T) Rapid Capabilities Office. The Rapid Capabilities Office seeks emergent and disruptive technologies and rapidly transitions capabilities to the Fleet Marine Force. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide transition support for each project within your assigned Element portfolio within the Current Technology Office (CTO) of the S&T Division.Focus is to transition projects of a Technology Readiness Level 7+ into fielded capabilities. Ensure the alignment of proposed prototyping projects to critical service- and joint-level capability gaps, warfighting concepts, and learning demands to include working with capability developers, material developers, and Deputy Commandant-level subject matter experts to gain concurrence for proposed prototyping projects. Provide information and data on each project within your assigned portfolio for the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Initiative submission and/or POM updates of a Program of Record (PoR). Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for the development of project requirements documents (Rapid Statement of Need (RSON), Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD), etc.) Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for the development of the initial Acquisition Strategy for the rapid prototyping, rapid fielding, and/or fielding of a project into a PoR.You will work with the Acquisition community to develop the Acquisition Strategy. Coordinate with DoD Services/Agencies and Other Federal Agencies, as needed, to facilitate the rapid fielding of the project. Participate in/conduct regular project reviews to monitor project status and provide updates to relevant stakeholders. Formulate strategies to mitigate known project transition risks and identified issues. In concert with MCWL's Experiments Division, conduct planning to ensure prototype project development and testing schedules are incorporated in service-level, live-force experimentation. Identify and ensure prototyping project sustainment considerations are addressed to allow effective participation in live-force experimentation events. In concert with MCWL's Experiment Division, develop assessment strategies and analyses of alternatives for various technologies to determine their operational significance, Key Performance Parameters, Key System Attributes, and future development potential. Lead working groups to develop concepts of operations/employment, techniques tactics, and procedures, and tables of organization and equipment. Assist project officers in the collection and codification of key documentation in support of project transition. Coordinate with other Research & Engineering (R&E) enterprise S&T organizations to minimize duplication of prototyping efforts while leveraging complementary efforts to address Marine Corps capability development requirements. Coordinate with Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) for relevant intelligence assessments to develop initial program protection plans and other protection-related documents for S&T efforts. Thrive in an action officer capacity by collecting data, building transition products, and conducting planning in support of CTO and MCWL equities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience or at least 10 years experience without degree Preferred Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI (eligible) clearance (DOD - DISS) Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
